First Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) for salt in Europe.<\/p>\n

Since 10\/04\/12, the PGI protects the names “Sel de Gu\u00e9rande” and “Fleur de Sel de Gu\u00e9rande”, as well as the promotion of the products and the associated know-how. This sign of origin crowns many years of work by the entire profession.<\/p>\n

(The PGI is in application 20 days after its publication date of 20\/03\/12 in the Official Journal of the European Union, i.e. 20\/03\/12 + 20 days = since 10\/04\/12!)<\/p>\n

Thanks to this PGI, salt workers can guarantee the origin and quality of “Sel de Gu\u00e9rande” and “Fleur de Sel de Gu\u00e9rande” products to their customers and consumers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
